State’s budget surplus should go back to the people

With plenty of surplus revenue in the state budget, elected officials should pass on some savings to the working class by cutting the gasoline tax. It’s unfortunate that the left wing of the aisle looks at it as an opportunity to spend more while raising rates at the same time. State Democratic lawmakers are no different than the Trump Republicans. A one-party regime.
