MILL CREEK — People expecting to take 128th Street SE and Highway 96 near Everett and Mill Creek will have delays and detours this weekend.

The road is set for closures of the westbound lanes with only one eastbound lane open from 10 p.m. Friday through 10 p.m. Sunday. The Washington State Department of Transportation has construction crews there to replace the culvert for North Creek under the near McCollum Pioneer Park.

The detour uses Highway 527, 164th Street SE and I-5, and is about 6½ miles.

Another weekend-long closure is scheduled for Aug. 10 to 14.
