MOUNT VERNON — The Cougars kept their season alive with the victory over the Mariners in the 2A District 1 tournament game.

Lakewood (14-9) faces Anacortes in another loser-out game at 7:15 p.m. Thursday at Mount Vernon High School. Sehome finished its season 11-12.
