EVERETT — Junior Jordan Rife recorded a double-double (12 points, 13 rebounds) to power the Wildcats (8-11, 3-8) past the Mavericks (9-9, 3-7) and move closer in the league standings. Freshman Carter Hagen scored 11 points and dished five assists, and junior Jack Sievers (8 points) grabbed 15 rebounds to supplement a strong overall defensive effort. Junior Noah Million (12 points) led Meadowdale in the loss.

DEMING — Trailing 20-15 after the first quarter, the Cougars (14-5, 10-3) ripped off a 29-point second quarter to take a 44-32 lead by halftime, then held the Mountaineers (8-10, 3-10) to just eight points in the second half to cruise to victory. Junior Caleb Greenland (22 points) and senior Evan Stacey (16 points) led the scoring for Lakewood. No player on Mount Baker scored in the double-digits, with senior Luke Smith topping out at 9 points.

EVERETT — Junior Brooke Blachly (22 points) hit six 3-pointers, and senior Ava Marr scored 18 points to help the Wildcats (18-1, 11-0) remain undefeated in league play and hold off a comeback attempt from the Mavericks (12-6, 8-2), which were led by senior Kyairra Roussin and junior Mia Brockmeyer (16 points each).
