The Shed Players, a Mill Creek and Snohomish-based band, perform this evening at the Future of Flight in Mukilteo.

Benefit Concert for Mukilteo: The Historic Everett Theatre Preservation Society is hosting a benefit concert for the families of the Mukilteo shooting victims. The concert is 7 p.m. Aug. 26 at the Historic Everett Theatre, 2911 Colby Ave., Everett. The concert is free for teens, but a $20 donation is suggested. Among the bands scheduled to perform are Medicine Hat and Spike and the Impalers.

Richard Russell: World Music Night at Cafe Zippy. This time hear an evening in India, 7 p.m. Aug. 26 at the cafe, 2811 Wetmore Ave., Everett. $10 at the door.

Ukulele master Kimo Hussey: The Tim Noah Thumbnail Theater hosts the well-known Hawaiian artist at 4 p.m. Aug. 28 at 1211 Fourth St., Snohomish. Take part in a workshop earlier in the day and then enjoy the concert for $60. Concert only is $40.

Un-Wine-d Wednesdays: Live music and tastes of local wines are offered by Marysville Rotary from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Sept. 14 with the Joan Penney Trio and Oct. 12 with the Danny Ward Trio at the city-run Marysville Opera House, 1225 Third St.; 360-363-8400. Tickets are $5.

Blues and Brews Thursdays: Marysville Kiwanis Club joins the city in offering blues music and brews from a local microbrewery from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Sept. 15 with the Margaret Wilder Band and Oct. 20 with Queenside Castle, all at the Marysville Opera House, 1225 Third St; 360-363-8400. Ecumenical Summer Choir: Lutheran Choral Association of Snohomish County invites singers of all denominations to sing from 7 to 9 p.m. on Mondays through Sept 5 at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 9320 Meadow Way, Everett. The weekend after Labor Day, the choir will present a concert. The choir bridges the gap for singers whose choirs are off for the summer.
