Cathay Pacific to order Airbus A350s

Cathay Pacific Airways said today that it plans to order 30 Airbus A350s.
The Hong Kong-based carrier would begin receiving the A350-900s in 2016 at the earliest. The order is valued at roughly $7.8 billion.
Cathay Pacific also said that it plans to exercise options to buy six Boeing Co. 777-300 Extended Range jets, valued at roughly $1.6 billion.
