City seeks Town Center opinion

The City is holding the Town Center Open House from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. on Oct. 29 in Council Chambers, Shoreline City Hall, 17500 Midvale Ave. N.

The open house is an opportunity for the city to hear thoughts on how many of the 5,000 new jobs and 5,000 new residents that Shoreline must accommodate in the next 20 years should be focused in Town Center.

What improvements and amenities should be provided? How can we protect adjacent neighborhoods as growth occurs along Aurora? Planning commissioners and city planners will staff several graphic displays about existing conditions, upcoming projects, adopted city plans and strategies, and recent studies done by University of Washington classes.
