The South Snohomish County Chamber of Commerce plans its annual Golf Classic today at the Golf Club at Echo Falls. Registration begins at noon followed a shotgun start at 1 p.m. and an awards banquet and raffle at 6 p.m. Registration is $140 per person or $560 per foursome. The awards banquet is open to all for $45 per person.
Primerica Financial Services of Everett will conduct a career open house from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Friday to consider potential full- and part-time employees. The event will take place at 9505 19th Ave. SE, Suite 111, Everett. Interested people should call 425-218-4168 to schedule an interview. Attendees should bring a resume.
Merchants at the Snohomish Station shopping center plan “The Snohomish Station First Summer Event,” set for 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.The event will include live music, vendor booths and more. Snohomish Station is located at 2600 Bickford Ave., Snohomish.
Moves
Northrop Insurance and Financial Services Inc. celebrates its new location, 10930 Fourth Ave. W., Everett, with an event at noon June 23. The agency, owned by Kathy Northrop, moved to the new location in April.
Awards
The Marysville Tulalip Chamber of Commerce will present its business and community leadership awards starting at 7 a.m. June 26 at the Canoes Cabaret Room of the Tulalip Casino, 10200 Quil Ceda Blvd. The awards include business of the year, business leader of the year, elected official of the year, volunteer and the chairman’s award. Milestones
The Port of Everett successfully completed the Clean Marina Washington re-certification for its 2,300 slip marina facilities, the largest public marina on the West Coast. After it was first certified in 2007, the Port expanded hazardous waste disposal for customers and began using less hazardous products.
