EADS won’t bid on Air Force One

Boeing won’t have to compete with EADS and Airbus to supply the next presidential airplane, Air Force One.

The Pentagon recently put out feelers on which companies would bid on replacing the current 747 fleet of Air Force One.

Responses were expected today and EADS says it won’t compete, reports Aviation Week.

Boeing is considering its 747 and 787 for the bid.
