Default hotline still available resource

Thanks so much for Marilyn Watkins’ Nov. 12 column, “Local governments, with help, can stem this decline,” about a woman named Erin and her role helping people through mortgage default issues, as well as her personal story.

One thing that did not come out is who Erin works for and how people can access our services. Despite the funding cuts we are threatened with, Solid Ground’s Mortgage Default Hotline is still a resource for people in Snohomish County facing default. Consumers can call the intake hotline Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 10:30 a.m to 4:30 p.m at 206-694-6766. Thanks.
