Alleged attack on postal carrier

GRANITE FALLS — Police said they are investigating a possible assault on a female postal carrier.

The assault was reported at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, said Paula Crouch, records specialist with the Granite Falls Police Department.

The U.S. Postal Inspection Service also is looking into the incident, inspector Kimalie Hollomon said.
