Everett City Council, 8:30 a.m. today, Everett City Council Chambers, 3002 Wetmore Ave. The council is scheduled to vote on authorizing the mayor to sign a $13,343 contract with Seattle-based Nakano Associates to design a downtown plaza at the Everett Performing Arts Center.
Lake Stevens Arts Commission, 6:30 p.m. tonight, Annex, 1812 Main St. Final selection of bands for this summer’s Music on the Lake series is among the scheduled items.
Snohomish County Council, 9 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. today, eighth floor of the Drewel Administration Building, 3000 Rockefeller Ave., Everett. Agenda topics at 9 a.m. include proposed contracts. At 10:30 a.m., a hearing is planned on the Granite Falls bypass plan and budgeting for land-use decisions.
Everett Public Facilities District, 8:30 a.m. Thursday, at the Hansen Conference Center, Conference Room 1, 2000 Hewitt Ave. Board members are scheduled to review March financial reports for Comcast Arena at the Everett Events Center.

Stanwood City Council, 7 p.m. Thursday, Stanwood-Camano School District Administration Building, 26920 Pioneer Highway. The council is planning to discuss an interlocal agreement with the Snohomish Regional Drug Task Force.
