Potuer suspended

Everett defenseman Graham Potuer was suspended for two games by the league today. Potuer was given the suspension under supplemental discipline for his hit on Seattle defenseman Steve Chaffin on Saturday that left Chaffin with a concussion. There was no penalty called on the play.

Potuer’s suspension means once again the Tips are down to five defensemen for tonight’s game against a tough Spokane team. Everett general manager Doug Soetaert was frantically working to phones to bring in another d-man (Brenden Stephen?) for Friday’s game at Spokane.
