Air Force Airman 1st Class Jessica D. Cantrell is the fitness center activities coordinator and marketing leader for the 407th Expeditionary Services Squadron based at Tallil Air Base, Iraq. Cantrell and her team coordinate morale events and sporting activities for the more than 700 airmen deployed at the base. Cantrell, who is the daughter of Robert and Jackie Falkowski of Mill Creek, will return to Little Rock Air Force Base, Ark., after her deployment.

Army Spc. Matthew Borgen of Lynnwood is serving as a medic in Iraq with the 3-7th Infantry Battalion, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division. Borgen recently finished tops in a training exercise competition that highlighted his skills as medic. He has been in Iraq since October. Borgen is the son of Erik and Suzanne Borgen of Lynnwood and the brother of Christopher Borgen of Mukilteo.
