The Mitsubishi Aircraft Corp. has pushed back the first flight of its new regional jet, the MRJ, to the week of Nov. 9 due to a rudder pedal repair.
The MRJ had been slated to fly in late October, several months later than Mitsubishi’s original timeline.
The MRJ is being developed in Japan, but Mitsubishi plans to do the bulk of test flights at Moses Lake in Central Washington. Earlier this year, the Japan-based company opened an engineering center in Seattle and test flight facility at Moses Lake.
