Sax true public servant who the people need

The reported disclosure of private documents by Jeff Sax about the Brightwater sewage treatment plant, via private meetings that should have been public, are a disgrace to all county governments. Every one of the line items discussed by King County and the Snohomish County councils should have been discussed at open public meetings and not merely at one final meeting.

As Jeff has said, public disclosure and open public discussion are part of our county charter! The way our council decided to accept King County’s offer was a disservice to the public.

Jeff has stood the public’s ground in defense of every Snohomish County citizen, when many involved have decided it was easier or more politically correct, to do or say nothing at all. Some council members have instead made excuses and talked around the subjects, covering up topics that most impact the public’s needs in this supposed Brightwater scandal.

I say good for Jeff Sax, and may most of District 5 vote their hearts for him, instead of the past incumbent, Dave Somers, who Sax defeated in the last election.

Snohomish County needs true patriots who go to battle with the enemy and an open mind to win, no matter the personal outcome. Jeff is the kind of council member we desperately need in our government. Sax should be given a medal for his duty to the public. We desperately need more public defenders like him and he truly deserves everyone’s vote.
