5-year-old falls from 3rd-floor apt. in Bothell, taken to Harborview

BOTHELL — A 5-year-old girl was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle on Saturday after falling about 20 feet from an apartment building in Bothell.

The girl injured her head and a leg, according to the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office.

She went through a screened window on the third floor window on the third floor of an apartment building in Bothell, according to the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office.

A family member was taking care of the girl when she fell.

The accident, which occurred in the 17700 block of the Bothell-Everett Highway at about 1 p.m., is not considered suspicious, a sheriff’s office spokeswoman said.
