Contest of lights
Home and business owners who live in the Stanwood-Camano Island School District can enter their holiday lights display in a contest run by the city, Chamber of Commerce and Discover Port Susan. To enter, post a photo of your lights display online before midnight Dec. 18 at discoverportsusan.com/holidays/contest. Contest is for exterior light decorations that can be seen from the street and judging is based on online votes. Voting ends Christmas Eve and the winner will receive a prize in January.
