Holiday bus service
Community Transit will operate a standard Sunday bus schedule Sunday, Dec. 25, and Sunday, Jan. 1. Community Transit also will run on a Sunday bus schedule Monday, Dec. 26, when Christmas Day is observed. There will be no commuter service to downtown Seattle or the University of Washington that day.
On Monday, Jan. 2, when New Year’s Day is observed, Community Transit will run a reduced service schedule. Local routes will be on a Sunday schedule, but the agency also will run commuter Routes 402, 413, and 421 to downtown Seattle on their regular weekday schedules. All other commuter routes to downtown Seattle and UW will not operate that day.
All Community Transit buses will be on a regular Saturday schedule Dec. 24, Christmas Eve, and Dec. 31, New Year’s Eve.
Sound Transit Route 512 will operate on a Sunday schedule Dec. 25-26 and Jan. 1-2.
Community Transit customer service phone lines and the RideStore will be closed Dec. 26 and Jan. 2.
Pool closed: The Mountlake Terrace Recreation Pavilion will be closed all day Saturday and Sunday. It will reopen Monday, though City Hall will be closed in observance of the holiday.
The pool’s winter break schedule, which includes “happy hour” deals in the afternoons, continues until Jan. 8. The pool will be open for limited hours on New Year’s Eve and closed New Year’s Day.
