Members of the Rotary Club of Everett on May 2 gathered on the site in downtown Everett where, in spring 1917, the club received its official charter. The spot, at Hewitt and Wetmore avenues, used to be Weiser’s Cafe and is now a parking lot.

Club historian Larry O’Donnell led a re-enactment. Many club members donned period clothing for the occasion.
