Story: Young Snohomish go-kart racer making national waves
Ellie Musgrave, a 14-year-old Snohomish resident, is one of the best junior go-kart racers in the country. Musgrave is the points leader in two classifications at the Sumas International Motorsport Academy (SIMA), which is her home track. She also competes regionally in the Northwest Region 6 Gold Cup, and nationally in the F-Series.
Here’s video from a GoPro camera on her car at the F-Series event in Morresville, North Carolina, on March 24, where she finished fourth out of 27 competitors in the final race:
