A free outdoor contemporary dance performance is planned Sunday in Lynnwood.
The Mexico-based dance company Ciudad Interior will perform at 4 p.m. at Lynndale Park, 18927 72nd Ave. W. The event includes “a series of choreographies especially created for the outdoors called ‘Dancing through Streets and Squares,’” according to a news release.
Play golf to help crime victims: Victim Support Services will hold its annual charity golf tournament July 11 at Legion Memorial Golf Course in Everett. There will be a luncheon, raffle and prizes. Island County burn ban: Starting Tuesday, Island County has a modified burn ban in place. No outdoor burning is allowed except for campfires in approved pits lined with concrete or metal, or some other approved equipment, such as a barbecue or camp stove.
