Airbus soars at Paris Air Show

Airbus continued to add to its order tally on Wednesday at the Paris Air Show.
The European company announced the following orders:
20 A320 new engine option, or neo, aircraft from Latin America’s LAN Airlines.
51 A320 jets, including 33 A320neo jets, from Latin America’s AviancaTaca. This is a tentative order.
80 A320neo aircraft from Republic Airways Holding, which is the parent company of Frontier Airlines. This also is a tentative order.
30 A320neo jets from Kuwait-based international Aviation Lease and Finance Co. This deal also needs to be finalized.
Six A350 XWB jets from Aviation Lease and Finance Co.
180 A320s, which includes 150 A320neo and 30 standard A320s, from India’s IndiGo. This order was finalized at the air show but previously announced in January.
