Everett woman held in stabbing incident

EVERETT — Everett police arrested a woman Saturday after she allegedly stabbed her boyfriend in the chest with a steak knife.

The man, 22, was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. His condition was not immediately known.

Police were called about 10:30 a.m. to the 10100 block of 19th Avenue SE, according to a police report filed Monday in Everett District Court.

A witness told investigators the couple had been arguing that morning, police said. Detectives found a 4-inch long steak knife near bloody paper towels.

The woman, 28, was booked into the Snohomish County Jail for investigation of first-degree assault.
