EVERETT — A paralyzed puppy from Lake Stevens has a new loving home.
Noodle, a stray pint-sized pup with black and brown fur, came into the Everett Animal Shelter this fall with little use of her hind legs.
She captivated thousands of hearts when the shelter shared video of her testing out a new wheeled cart that helped with her mobility.
The shelter announced this week that Noodle had been adopted by a pair of local physical therapists who have another well-behaved dog.
Donations covered Noodle’s medical bills, her first cart and a second cart for when she grows bigger. Genetic tests showed Noodle is mostly Labrador, mixed with some boxer and mastiff, according to the city.
So she won’t be small for long.
