LAKE STEVENS — No one was seriously hurt in a crash involving a Snohomish County sheriff’s deputy patrol vehicle Monday south of Lake Stevens.
The two vehicles collided around 2:30 p.m. at 20th Street SE and Highway 9.
The deputy had been headed east. An ambulance responded as a precaution because the northbound car had children inside, sheriff’s spokeswoman Shari Ireton said. No one needed to go to the hospital, however.
The cause of the crash was being investigated. A northbound lane of Highway 9 remained closed for about two hours.
