Saturday’s best bets on TV include:
“O.J.: Made in America”: Not to be confused with the hit FX miniseries, this epic, five-part “30 for 30” ESPN documentary chronicles the rise and fall of Simpson in fresh and riveting fashion. The film begins with the origins of Simpson’s football stardom in the 1960s and examines how he crafted a charming off-the-field image. From there, it goes into the “trial of the century” and beyond, offering several revelatory moments along the way. 9 p.m. Saturday, ABC. (Continues on ESPN on Tuesday).
It’s the end of the line for Cullen Bohannon (Anson Mount) and his work on America’s first transcontinental railroad. “Hell on Wheels” airs the first of its final seven episodes. 9 p.m., AMC.
