Mountlake Terrace man identified in motorcycle fatality

SNOHOMISH — A Mountlake Terrace man who died Sunday in a motorcycle crash in Snohomish has been identified by the Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office.

Edward Shephard, 64, crashed in the 6800 block of South Machias Road. Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to reports after 2 p.m., the sheriff’s office said in a tweet. CPR was attempted, but Shephard died at the scene.

The cause and manner of his death are pending, according to the medical examiner’s office.

No other vehicles were involved in the crash.
