AquaSox lose in extras for 6th straight defeat

EVERETT — Tri-City scored three runs in the tenth inning and hung on to beat Everett 6-3 on Thursday afternoon, handing the AquaSox their sixth consecutive defeat.

Adam Macko started for the AquaSox and struck out 10 batters in six strong innings. Macko allowed just two runs on five hits and didn’t walk a batter.

Andy Thomas and Victor Labrada each homered and Parker added a double for Everett (3-8).

Mike Peabody went 2-for-4 with a home run for Tri-City (7-4).
