The summer concert calendar across our region is replete with free music offered by municipalities.

Take some food with you. Bring a blanket or a folding chair. Relax and enjoy. Dance even.

Did we mention that these outdoor concerts are free?

This weekend, catch the Stacy Jones Band, which focuses on country, Southern rock, folk, Americana roots and blues, at 6:30 p.m. July 2 at the Everett’s Port Gardner Landing, 1700 W. Marine View Drive.

Jones won the 2015 International Music and Entertainment Association award for Best Blues Song “Can’t Do Nothin’ Right” off her newest album “Whiskey, Wine &Water.” She’s hot right now and riding a good wave. Don’t miss this show.
