Easy Island Blonde

Naked City Brewery, Camano Island

Style: Blonde ale

Stats: 5 percent ABV, 22 IBU

Available: On tap at the brewery (Camano Island location only)

My thoughts: This beer is the first in a new rotating series that founder Don Webb calls the Easy Island series. All of the beers in the series will be made with malts from Skagit Valley Malting, as the base malts and will only pour at Naked City’s Camano location.

This blonde is light, summery and perfect for the island life. The pilsner malts from SVM give it a slight body that’s a perfect complement for the burst of hop character that follows.

From the brewery: The first offering in head brewer Don Webb’s Easy Island Brew Series, Easy Island Blonde is a crisp, refreshing summer brew perfect for sipping in the Camano Island sun. Made with 100 percent malts from Skagit Valley Malting.
