The Everett Animal Shelter hosts thousands of stray and unwanted animals every year. Some are adopted right away, but some sit in the shelter for weeks at a time, waiting for a home. The shelter has dogs and cats, as well as some rabbits and birds, all looking for a loving home.

Pepper isn’t showing his true self, he is a little stressed hanging out with us. But we know that he would be a good pet if given time to adjust to his new family. Having places for Pepper to hid and watch what is going on will also help him adjust. He has lived with other cats and dogs, but did not do well with them.
