Malicious Women Candle Co.’s products come with one-two punchlines labeled on the candles’ jars. They come with over a dozen different scenes and nine different categories, from “The Wedding Collection” to “The Mom Collection.” (Malicious Women Candle Co.)

1. Candles with a punchline.

There’s many ways to poke fun at life and its many quirks.

Sending a friend in the throes of parenthood a scented candle from Malicious Women Candle Co. isn’t a bad way to go.

Try “They Whine, I Wine” or “Don’t Make Me Use My Mom Voice” printed on a candle with a sweet red wine scent for starters.

The handcrafted soy candles made in Lake Stevens come in over a dozen scents with a plethora of one-two punchlines to choose from.

A portion of the proceeds are donated to Dress For Success, a Seattle nonprofit that empowers women to achieve economic independence.

2. Classes for comedians.

It’s time to express — or harness — your inner comedian.

The Everett Comedy College includes four class sessions, taught by professional stand up comedians, and one live show in front of an audience of your friends and family.

Classes are from 7 to 9:15 p.m. April 10, April 15, April 17 and April 22 at GroWashington Everett, 3013 Colby Ave. The graduate show will be April 24 at a yet-to-be determined venue. The cost is $75 for students and $125 for adults. For ages 12 and older.

3. Jokes, tokes and more jokes.

There’s a smell in the air — and it isn’t roses.

It’s The Dope Show coming to Everett next month.

The comedy show, scheduled for 8 to 10 p.m. April 20 at the Historic Everett Theatre, has nationally touring comedians perform a sober set, take a short intermission to smoke weed, then return to the stage to perform again while high.

Many of them have never toked before, while others are weed enthusiasts.
