Woods Blue New York Aster – Aster novi-belgii ‘Wood’s Blue’

A favorite dwarf perennial aster, it is an excellent selection for a position near the front of the border. During the late summer into fall, it is packed with blue flowers highlighted by a golden eye. Place it near yellow roses or dahlias to enhance the color selections of the fall garden. Wood’s Blue Aster is a good cut flower, so will work well in bouquets to be brought indoors or given to friends.

Size: A diminutive 12 inches tall x 18 inches wide make this aster an easily managed plant.

Sun/shade: Asters thrive in full sun.

See it: Check local full-service nurseries.
