Phoenix Theatre: 9673 Firdale Ave., Edmonds; 206-533-2000; www.tptedmonds.org. ​Phoenix Theatre’s 2021-2022 season includes “The Miser,” “Inspecting Carol,” “37 Postcards,” “Mama Won’t Fly” and “Skin Flick.” Season tickets for all five performances are $110 for adults and $98 for seniors, students and military.

Red Curtain: The Red Curtain Arts Center, 9315 State Ave., Suite J, Marysville (in the Goodwill shopping center, behind the Everett Community College cosmetology school); 360-322-7402; www.redcurtainfoundation.org. Red Curtain’s 2021-2022 season includes “The Odd Couple,” “And Then There Were None,” “A Christmas Carol: A Comedy,” “As You Like It,” “She Kills Monsters,” “The Rememberer” and “Into the Woods.” Season tickets for all seven shows are $125 for adults or $105 for seniors, students and military.

YOUTH THEATER

“9 to 5: The Musical”: The Summer Stars of Red Curtain Arts Center will perform the 2008 musical based on the 1980 film of the same name Aug. 6-7 and 13-14 at the Marysville theater, 9315 State Ave., Suite J, (in the Goodwill shopping center, behind the Everett Community College cosmetology school). Show times are 7 p.m. Friday, 1 and 7 p.m. Saturday. Tickets are $15 for adults, $12 for students and seniors and $10 for kids 12 and younger. DANCE

Catapult: The dance company that specializes in shadow illusion, best known for their time on the hit show “America’s Got Talent,” performs at noon and 7:30 p.m. Oct. 23 at Edmonds Center for the Arts, 410 Fourth Ave. N., Edmonds. Dancers working behind a screen to create shadow silhouettes of shapes from the world around us. Watch their bodies transform into a mountain, an elephant, a dragon and even a helicopter, and travel the world from Paris to Beijing in less than 10 minutes. Tickets are $10. Call 425-275-9595.

Bodytraffic: “The company of the future,” Bodytraffic is a world-class contemporary dance company. The company will perform Micaela Taylor’s “Snap” at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 28 at the Edmonds Center for the Arts, 410 Fourth Ave. N., Edmonds. “Snap” was inspired by the ethnically diverse, yet isolating crowds of LA. It urges audiences to “snap out of” social pressures to conform and connect with their individuality as well as with people around them. Tickets are $24-$49. More at www.edmondscenterforthearts.org.

COMEDY

Comedy Garage: A weekly comedy showcase and open mic held Mondays at Tony V’s Garage, 1716 Hewitt Ave., Everett. Features regional comedians working out their longer sets and local amateurs trying new material. The headliner for the July 26 show has yet to be announced. No cover. All ages. Kermet Apio: The award-winning Seattle comedian will perform 7 p.m. Sept. 9 at the Edmonds Center for the Arts, 410 Fourth Ave. N., Edmonds. Apio has appeared on Comedy Central and NBC. George Noory Live: The overnight radio host of “Coast to Coast AM,” brings show to the stage 5 p.m. Sept. 25 to the Historic Everett Theatre, 2911 Colby Ave., Everett. Event will include a live band and conversation with a ghost hunter, Big Foot researcher, Nostradamus scholar and prophecy expert and a paranormal investigator. Tickets are $40-$100.
