SHORELINE — Two people were treated for smoke inhalation after they were discovered by firefighters at burning grocery store in Shoreline.
The fire at the Baro Grocery and Deli was discovered about 11 p.m. Wednesday by a King County sheriff’s deputy on patrol and quickly extinguished by the Shoreline Fire Department.
Spokeswoman Melanie Granfors told KIRO-TV damage was limited to the basement.
The two people found at the scene were not employees of the grocery and may have been camping behind the store.
