LYNNWOOD — Deputies arrested four juveniles Sunday night who were driving a vehicle stolen in a suspected carjacking in north Lynnwood, the sheriff’s office reported.

Around 9 p.m., officers responded to an armed robbery at AMC Alderwood Mall 16 at 18733 33rd Ave. W, Lynnwood police wrote in a post on X, formerly known as Twitter. Witnesses reported “multiple” suspects stole their two cars at gunpoint and drove off.

No one was injured in the incident, according to Lynnwood police.

About an hour later, Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office deputies stopped a 14-year-old boy driving north on Larch Way, spokesperson Courtney O’Keefe said Monday. The boy and three juvenile passengers were booked into the Denney Juvenile Justice Center in Everett.

Deputies believe the car was one of the two stolen vehicles in the Alderwood robbery, O’Keefe said. Police later found a second car, according to the X post.

It remained an active investigation this week.

Correction: Lynnwood police later found a second vehicle suspected to be stolen in an AMC Alderwood Mall armed carjacking, according to an X post. A previous article stated investigators had located one earlier this week.
