BRIER — A family of four escaped harm after their home’s garage caught fire Saturday night.
The two-story house in the 22800 block of Brier Road was reported on fire at 9:33 p.m., according to South County Fire. Firefighters found the family got out without injuries and doused the flames in the garage to keep it from the home. Two vehicles in the driveway were burned as well.
Damage was estimated at $150,000.
South County Fire investigators were investigating the cause.
Red Cross was assisting the family.
