Everett man dies, 6 hurt in T-bone crash near Lynnwood

The man, 58, died at the scene on 28th Avenue W late Tuesday.

LYNNWOOD — An Everett man died after a car crash late Tuesday east of Lynnwood, according to the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office.

The man, 58, was driving a Chevrolet Camaro on 204th Street NW around 10 p.m. Tuesday when his car T-boned a Mercedes-Benz at the intersection with 28th Avenue W, according to the sheriff’s office.

The Camaro driver died at the scene. Two other adults in the Camaro were transported to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle with serious injuries.

There were two adults and two children in the Mercedes-Benz. They were sent to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett with minor injuries, the sheriff’s office reported.

The road was closed for hours as detectives investigated.

The Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office will identify the man, as well as determine the cause and manner of death.
