SILVANA — The body of a 33-year-old Everett man was found around 8 a.m. Tuesday near the 100 block of Pioneer Highway East, just outside of Silvana, according to the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office.
“A resident driving by discovered the body in a field nearby the roadway,” a news release said.
Detectives in the Major Crimes Unit are investigating. There are no signs of criminal activity at this point.
The Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office will identify the man, and determine the cause and manner of death.
