Motorcyclist dies in Everett crash

EVERETT — One person died in a crash Sunday night after a car and motorcycle collided on Sievers Duecy Boulevard, police said.

The motorcyclist succumbed to his injuries, Everett officer Ora Hamel said. The other driver, who stayed at the scene and cooperated with police, had no reported injuries.

The road was closed for a couple of hours between Glenwood Avenue and Hardeson Road.

The identity of the deceased will be determined by the Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office.

Officers were investigating the cause of the crash.
