RENTON — Fire officials and police are investigating a fire at a Walmart store in Renton as a possible arson case.

KIRO-TV reports that the fire broke out Thursday at about 9:15 p.m. and forced the evacuation of the store.

Officials say the fire started in the hunting gear section of the sporting goods department.

A rack of hunting jackets and pants caught fire. Employees used extinguishers to put out the flames.

Fire officials told KIRO TV that the store was locked down as a potential crime scene.
