MONROE — A fire damaged an apartment above a Monroe brewery Monday morning.
Around 7 a.m., firefighters responded to a report of a smoke alarm going off in the 100 block of West Main Street, according to a social media post by the Snohomish County Regional Fire and Rescue. Fire officials confirmed the fire was coming from living quarters above Good Brewing Co.
No injuries were reported.
Firefighters got the fire under control within 30 minutes of the report. Multiple agencies assisted with the response. The extent of the damage to the business was unclear.
Good Brewing also has pubs in Bothell, Woodinville and Sultan. Google listed the business as “permanently closed” as of Monday, though ownership couldn’t be reached for comment.
Monroe police briefly closed Main Street on Monday morning.
The cause of the fire was unclear. It remained an active investigation Monday.
