Fire damages condo building in Mukilteo

MUKILTEO — A fire Wednesday night damaged condos in the 4800 block of 76th Street SW.

Firefighters were dispatched at 7:15 p.m. When they arrived, smoke was spilling out of the building. All occupants had already evacuated the condominium.

Crews from Everett, South Snohomish County and Fire District 7 joined Mukilteo in dousing the flames.

Two condo units suffered fire and water damage. It was not clear if anyone was hurt.

An investigator went to the scene to identify the cause of the fire. That information was not immediately available.

The condo building is near Olympic View Middle School, which was not affected.
