Time to get fit
Get started on your New Year’s resolution of living healthier with Marysville Parks and Recreation.
Many classes are offered in January to get you started or refocused on getting fit. Course offerings include: yoga, meditation, Zumba, kettlebell, running, boot camp, 30 Minute Live Insanity, 30 Minute Core Training, R.I.P.P.E.D One Stop Body Shock System and Journey Fit Club &Weight Loss.

Pets on Parade: Bring your four-legged friend to the Schack Art Center on Jan. 9 for the opening of Pets on Parade IV.
This exhibit is a playful tribute to pets through the eyes of artists who love them. If you have a soft spot in your heart for dogs, cats or birds you won’t want to miss this mixed-media exhibit through Feb. 6.
More than 40 artists have been selected to participate, including pet portrait artist Jennifer Bloom who will be the featured in the Schack Shop through February.
The Schack is also collecting leashes, collars, beds, toys and pet food to benefit N.O.A.H. and the Everett Animal Shelter. Well-behaved pets and owners are welcome to attend the opening reception 5 to 8 p.m. Jan. 9.
