LYNNWOOD — A Lynnwood girl has been found safe after she was missing for about two weeks.
Sha’niece Watson, 11, left her Lynnwood home on foot on April 27. She has ties to Whidbey Island, has left her home in the past and was located in Island County following a similar incident, according to the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office.
“It is unusual for Sha’niece to be gone for this long and her family is concerned for her safety,” the sheriff’s office reported in early May.
Authorities asked for tips about her whereabouts.
In an update this week, the sheriff’s office said she “was located safe over the weekend and has been removed from missing status. A special thank you to our Special Investigations Unit (SIU) detectives and our regional law enforcement partners who assisted in locating her.”
