LYNNWOOD — A 72-year-old Lynnwood woman who died after being struck by a vehicle Dec. 2 has been identified by the Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office.
Fozieh Shirdelhefzabad was struck by an SUV while walking in the 17400 block of Highway 99. She was taken to a local hospital and died Thursday of blunt-force injuries, according to the medical examiner.
On Dec. 2, the driver allegedly left the scene but later returned and was arrested for investigation of driving under the influence, according to the Lynnwood Police Department.
