Man found dead in his cell at Island County Jail

COUPEVILLE — Authorities are investigating the death of an inmate at the Island County Jail.

Keaton Farris, 25, was found dead in his cell about 12:20 a.m. Wednesday, Island County sheriff’s detective Ed Wallace said.

Farris had been booked March 26 for investigation of identity theft in San Juan County.

His cause of death is under investigation. No other details were released Wednesday.
