Man shot multiple times south of Everett

EVERETT — A 37-year-old man was shot multiple times south of Everett early Friday morning, police say.

Around 2 a.m, the man was in a residential parking lot in the 11700 block of 12th Place W when somebody shot him, according to the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office. He was taken to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett.

The suspect fled in a vehicle.

Shortly after the shooting, a man burglarized a nearby home and fled the scene on foot, according to the sheriff’s office. It was unclear if the shooting and the burglary were connected.
