Man who tried to stop a robbery is shot and killed

SEATTLE — A Good Samaritan who tried to break up a robbery was shot and killed and deputies are looking for a suspect.
KING-TV reported that the shooting happened at 1:15 a.m. Tuesday at an apartment complex near Mallard Lake in the White Center neighborhood.
The King County Sheriff’s Office says the 51-year-old victim was shot trying to help a person he knew who was being robbed. The man died in the parking lot.
The robber ran away. Police dogs picked up the suspect’s scent but deputies were not able to find him.
